Dumb as a rock and living under one too it seems

Stavros,

Allow me to pull you out from the rock you have been living under and
bludgeon your head against it figuratively to try to get through to you.
The mages and bards do not solely have Kinsarmarian citizenship, and I
am more than certain that there are a good deal of authorized
Lorekeepers living in Khandava as well. While I'm certain that your city
is secretly praying to the divine that you only will have need of
fighting the arboreals, the only guild that has its guildhall located in
Khandava Council, you will find Khandava's population far more diverse.

You will see songs, sketches, vibrations, runes, totems, but not from
Kinsarmarian citizens unless you choose to embark upon whatever path
might provoke the current Duke to action. To call a citizen of Khandava
Kinsarmarian as well as to ascribe those abilities solely to Kinsarmar
is one of the most glorious public displays of the rampant idiocy that
seems to sheath your city as tightly as Lord Baar's magick-dispersing
intervention. Stop drinking your water through your lead visor.

While there may have been minimal and individual involvement in whatever
initial skirmishes led up to this conflict, it was by no means a
fraction of Kinsarmar's strength. Your citizens have a tendancy to
irritate those of other cities on a regular basis, and through those
actions and your city's harboring of such individuals you met minimal
retaliation by a scant handful of disgruntled individuals. Surely a
Justicar could appreciate what a formal declaration of war on the part
of Khandava has brought and a formal declaration that Kinsarmar is not
to be involved unless Antioch receives outside aide means.

Give it a rest, Stavros. Your armor is too rusted and your bag of lies
far too expended and open for anyone of worth not to see through you.
You should take Kinsarmar's lack of involvement for what it is a lack of
a two-front war. Now you have the opportunity to prove your city's worth
and perhaps even to prove me wrong. Seize it, or just cower in your
city. I care not either way, but the true colors of your city will shine
forth.

Let's see what Antioch has to offer. I am content to put aside my desire
to tear through you in order to see just how your city will fare in
this. It should prove interesting in the least.

Now that you have been so enlightened as to the nature of your war, I
hope I am not disappointed by the civilized bastion that claims to stand
with gods against magick.

Sincerely,
Mathiu

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
