To my mysterious letter sender,

I was somewhat surprised to recieve the letter with one of my mandolins
in it. I was further surprised to find that the message included a
'threat' that the Bards Guild may look disfavourably at any of the
instruments with my mark lying around.

If you were a Bard of any stature, you would realise I was a Novice Aide
for that Guild for many years. And as such, I have made many instruments
for the guild's novices throughout the years. In fact, many instruments
carry my mark on it. To find an instrument with my mark on it does not
instantly mean that -I- left any instruments around. And to my
knowledge, instruments have been sold freely to the public for the past
couple of decades.

Not to mention, that if you have ever seen me while I am using the
Bardic skills, you would know that I carry no other instrument than my
Harp of the Seas.

Please do not assume these rather unimportant things in the future, nor
send me poorly veiled threats.
