Dearest Ryax,
Were you including Antioch in the category of the "rest of the world"?
Antioch bows to no magicker, no demoner, and no sort of magickal force
what-so-ever. The war is over between us and Khandava yes, but we did
not comply with their demands because we feared them or their magick; in
fact, after we were given the first ultimatum we retaliated harshly and
forced them to lessen their demands.
We care about our citizens and our children, and we were tired of seeing
such meaningless bloodshed spilled on both sides. We care about our
young learners, and we will not stand to see them constantly jumped by
honourless cowards more than five times their might. That is why we
stood down-- not because we fear the "all-powerful" magick. And if you
bring war to Ithaqua, I'll be damned if I don't offer my blades and my
heart in their defense. I might act alone in this as I cannot speak for
Antioch or anyone besides myself, but it is my choice to make such a
decision.
Your war mongering and blood-thirsty desires chill my heart. Your
conquest, if it should come to that, shall fall to pieces, and you Ryax,
conjuror of hatred, will find no solace in the darkest pits of Dis.
