The Outriders and Dunestriders

I thought I'd post to both dispel some myths I've heard lately, and to
make a bit of a declaration.

Originally, the Hunters were divided into two groups that worked with
each other: the anti-magick, and pro-magick. When this was no longer
possible, the anti-magick group split off to the main guild and went to
Ithaqua to pursue their own ways. Calling themselves the Outriders, but
having no guild to call their own.

And now the Frostbringers and the Dunestriders have emerged. The
Frostbringers are the only of the two guilds with the right to exist.
They are the originals that departed to Ithaqua.

The Dunestriders are no more than a group of pretenders that gained the
skills of an Outrider and claimed to be the originals that split off
from the Hunters.

Now, as to the declaration. Any member of either Outrider guild will be
given one warning upon entering the Khandava or Celidon forests. If they
do not follow that warning and leave immediately, they will be slain.
Note that this will be a Hunter enforced policy, so do not blame the two
councils for this law.

However..to the Frostbringers. We will leave you alone if you stay out
of our business. The Dunestriders, on the other hand? Watch your steps
and your actions carefully, or you may find flames in your future.
