Public News Post #2884

Celidon

Greetings,

The following message is directed only at Celidonians.

I am unsure of what news has been passed on by your Emeris, but I would
like to clarify what was discussed, and what is on the table. To say
that Silken does not want to see this war come to an end is a fallacy. I
am as interested as you all are in seeing this war end.

Your Emeris would have us pay 1 million gold sovereigns or offer an
apology for a war we did not start. This is not the issue here however,
as we are willing to offer this apology provided Celidon offers one for
breaking our truce by cataclysming into our city. This is the offer that
your Emeris refused to accept.

You all speak of a desire to bring this war to an end, and you ought to
know that it is possible to do so. We can either agree to apologize to
one another, or we can continue to slay one another. Peace is not that
difficult to attain in this situation.

If your response to this message is another barrage of cataclysms, then
expect to see us knocking at your door in the near future.

I eagerly await a response from you, Celidon.
Silken Pae'ganis.

Onward to 2021
