Really?

I seem to be slightly lost on something here. I have done nothing? I
have not trained countless novices while you were in plain sight of
them? I have not brought up several ideas as to how to help bring
interest to your novices in staying, or other novices in joining? I did
not attempt to become part of your leadership, or even Kes-Rilar, so I
was in a position to make a difference? I didn't even go to great
lengths to secure commodities for the guild shop?

That isn't even half of it, just what I had done in the time that you
were guildmaster. So, you claim I do nothing? I call that something.

Just as well, hiding in Antioch? Antioch holds no protection for me,
because I am no Antiochian. My two-faced ignorance? If I were ignorant,
I wouldn't be bringing this up, for I wouldn't have even noticed
anything happen. Brown nosing? Of course. Hard work doesn't get rewards
anymore, or else Galn himself would have outranked me twenty times over.

All of this reminds me of a guild called the Wardancers, long before
Caarnonan took over, when a dynasty help them. Led by Toma, near the end
of his term, the Dancers began sliping, falling into disarray where
people who worked to better themselves got nothing and those who did
nothing got everything. When Antioch realized that, they told him to
step down. When he did, he gave leadership to Ellia, who did what she
could to repair it. When she realized that what she was doing just
wasn't enough, and Antioch hounded her every step, she decided it would
be better to leave, not to avoid a problem or avoid trouble, but to let
those capable of repairing the guild step up and do what is best for it.
I see this happening to the Idras, but every day, I see it falling
closer and closer to how bad it was in the Dancers. I was there when it
happened, it was my family that had the troubles, and I helped them work
it out. Now I see you in that position, but the only support I see you
having when the time comes is your leadership.

Good Luck in the future, you'll need it.

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Artificium, in the year 528 AD.

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021
