A couple of things

Apparently, subtle differences soar over your head, Isadarr. What Khalim
did is fair - Fire in and of itself, when used sparingly, by someone
who's been trusted with guarding the forest, is not destructive to the
forest, at least in the long term. He also did so with the greater goal
of any Magicker in mind - The destruction of you and your wretched
citizens, and the obliteration of all you stand for.

When a demoner attacks the forest? You don't just burn it. You steal
life from it, and taint it with your filth. That is why, at a guess, any
demoner who harms the forests, especially those protected by Khandava,
will find themselves troubled by the forest.

If you can't grasp the differences between a guardian of the forest
using it to help himself, and a demoner attacking it because he wishes
to steal life from it, or because he simply wishes to destroy something,
then you're delusional.

Now, this is just my own view, and my own thoughts - I'm not Khandavan,
nor a druid, but even I see the difference between extermination and
what Khalim did.
