You seem to forget you're dealing with an ego-maniacal tyrant here. You
have about as much chance of making him see honor as Celidon does of
ever electing a good leader. This is the guy who caused everyone who was
a threat to his position to no longer be associated with Celidon, and
who specifically refused to return my million gold donation to the
Stormweavers after he outguilded me five minutes after its opening.
Nevermind that I made him a Mage and saw to it that he became a
Celidonian in the first place.

We're talking about a true sycophant here, Iriaen. You no longer have
any use to him. Why would he deign to hear you out? I suggest going
directly to our former Councilmates for your cause, as Aakrin will
simply laugh at you and lead a good squad to slay you while you're out
hunting or somesuch.
