Eleuni Skye/Contests

Greetings to everyone,

At the request of the priest and the Four of Eleuni Skye, I'm pleased to
announce that Akash has finally been defeated and the University is now
within the hands of the rightful represenatives, as it should have been
all along. The University has now returned to the studies that it
originally focused upon as well, and is eager to see that their studies
of Magick progress.

Unfortunately, due to the recent issues with the University and Akash,
those who live there have closed it down for a period of time to work
upon their own defenses and repairs. It should open up again soon.
However, in the meantime, they have asked me to take care of a few
things directed towards Kinsarmar, Khandava and Celidon. The following
information concerns only them.

Those things to be taken care of are none other then a contest and
donation drive! The first of which is that the University requires more
bookcases for their ever expanding library. This means they need new
designs for the bookcases themselves! These bookcases should have a the
motiff of the element they are designed to represent, using materials
that you feel fit the element and the university. The bookcase to
represent the Wind has already been designed and created, but Fire,
Water and Earth remain lacking.

This means that you, people of the magicker city and councils can submit
your designs for this! You don't have to be a crafter to design. Myself
and the University shall take care of that faction of it. The priests
and I will be the judges, and the winning designs will be created an
used through eternity within the University Library. I will declare the
winners of this contest upon this same news forum a month or two after
this contest ends. This contest will last a year's time, and will end in
Aequitas of 541.

The other issue is in the gaining of knoweldge for the University
itself. While the university has plenty of books, they seek to expand
their knoweldge once more of Magick. As such, they've requested that yet
another contest be held for a donation drive. This can either be for
gold or books, and this donation drive will last until Aequitas of 541
as well. I will ensure that the person who donates the most will recieve
recognition and a prize of some sorts, most likely from the University
itself as a thank you.

All submissions must be turned into me at the request of Eleuni due to
their doors being closed at this time, whether they are designs or the
books/gold donations. They should be placed within a letter with your
name on it specifying what you have sent me is for. If they are
donations, they can be sent either via letter or handed to me
personally, again specifying what you have handed me is for. Should I
recieve any without a name, I will assume that the donation or design is
a nameless one, and will not enter it into the contest or drive, whether
it is judged the winner or not. Again, all nameless donations/designs
will be considered as freebes for the University to use. I will keep
track of who donates what, and you may ask of me what you've donated all
together as the contest and donation drive progresses.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Bright blessings, and good luck!
Rayalan Kith'Vahni

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Aequitas, in the year 540 AD.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
