It's all good and proper to fling a bit of mud, but tell the people why
I said what I said, Mathiu. Your order has been complaining about
Kinsarmar not letting Brydian walk about in the city since the laws now
forbid him. Apparently, some of you think we should "listen to Khandava"
and be "nice" and let Brydian traipse about in the Duchy.

Whilst some people may not mind an order trying to throw weight about
and force people to do what they want, I certainly do mind. Yes, I'm a
little rabid about my views. Yes, I happen to think you don't deserve to
be called magickers as long as you tolerate Brydian.

I'm hardly a poison in Kinsarmar. Even I realise how strange it would be
for an entire city to follow views as extreme as my own. I don't like it
when we're expected to repeal laws because they upset someone in
Khandava who happens to worship Lord Janus, nor do I like it when you
insult the Duchy, repeatedly, because we won't listen to the petty,
selfish demands your order throws at us.

Personally, I won't sit down and tolerate this kind of crap from an
order that has a history of behaving in this way. I don't think anyone
else should tolerate it either, but apparently Khandava is content to
let Brydian stay no matter his profession.
