Cease-Fire

Written by: Master of Arms, Brydian Sunjackal, Roving Vagabond
Date: Friday, July 18th, 2008
Addressed to: Everyone

On this day, the seventeeth of Solis in the year of five fifty-five AD,
the forest council of Khandava has come to terms with the city of
Stavenn. Effective immediately, a permanent cease fire shall be
established between both warring parties under the agreed terms:
-Those enemied to the forests of the Khandava council will have their
statuses revoked without question and without fine. Much like a rain
washes away the char of fire and strife within the woods, so shall this
treaty wipe the slate clean for those enemied to the Redwoods. The only
exception to this rule shall be Zelza Maeja.
-The city of Stavenn, as an act of good faith, shall take up the
internal policing of those who seek to leech life from or set ablaze to
the Redwoods of the Khandavan wood. According to the terms established
between the Imperator and the negotiator of Khandava, the first offense
shall be punished with the disfavour of the Empire, all other violations
shall be brought to vote to the Ephor Council.
-Henceforth, the council of Khandava shall only bear the burden of
policing the Redwoods . All other forests fall under the responsibility
of the surrounding entities and fires or exterminations on these
premises shall not bear the penalty of forestal enemying to Khandava.

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Solis, in the year 555 AD.
