Let it be known that the Council of Ithaqua will join in to fight
against what is going on in the "Republic of New Cannae". It is not the
fact that you choose to remain guild or cityless that has drawn our ire,
it is the fact that you choose to use the skills you have to aide those
we stand against. You claim to be anti-magick in alignment, stating that
you do not personally engage in the use of magick, and this is true, but
you do insist on giving aide or shelter to those who would. This is what
we can not and will not tolerate. What is worse, you do not go about
your existance in peace, causing no trouble, as you have indicated, but
instead apprentice others, drawing the young into your ways and trying
to spread your influence.

In the past Ithaqua has been content to simply treat you as enemies to
pines, no different to any other who commits acts against us. No great
hunt has previously been called down upon your heads, you have not been
tirelessy prosecuted as you so avidly insist. Instead of accepting this
for what it is, you have now chosen to form this ludicrous republic.
Until the republic realizes that it has no place here and is dissolved,
and its members cease spreading their stolen skills, Ithaqua will be
called to action. There is a phenomenal difference between standing for
"freedom" and standing for "nothing", a disparity that you quite
obviously need clarification on.
