Clerics of Antioch,

This is not meant to be an attack or a statement of superiority or any
of that posturing, it is merely a question that has been plaguing me
that I am trying to figure out, but alas no Cleric was available when
this question came to my mind and I'm hoping one will show up to answer
it. Basically, I'm wondering what makes Elemancy wrong in your mind but
not Healing because the following makes no sense to me:

The healing abilities of a Cleric are channeled through the elemental
planes, including the plane of spirit. Mage elemancy abilities are also
channeled through the same planes, but not spirit.

Now, is this access to the spirit plane the difference? If so then what
if a Cleric chose to channel all planes except spirit, would this
channeling be considered practicing magick? And if you consider the
spirit plane some sort of magick filter, then what of powers that do not
require the spirit plane? Would you cast out a Cleric if they were
caught using one of their powers that drew on only the elemental planes
while not having spirit channeled? And if having skills capable of
producing magick is not considered a crime until that magick is used,
then shouldn't you permit non-hostile runeguards on your territory if
they leave behind runed equipment?

Now, I know what you'll try to argue, that you have permission from your
Gods to use your powers and we do not. But consider that our Gods also
grant us permission to use our powers. Is your argument that Gods cannot
grant indefinite approval and we should be forced to ask them every
single time even if They tell you to stop asking every time and to just
assume until they say otherwise we have permission? As the only other
logical conclusion I could come up with is that you believe the opinions
of our Gods should be ignored, is this the case?

I do not wish to sound hostile, I am merely trying to resolve a logical
quandry in my mind and figure who better to ask than the ones who
actually use the abilities, I eagerly await an answer. Either here or
privately in letter format, I care not which, I just really wish to
know.
