Since the beginning of this modern age of history, the Protectorate of
the Sands has seen fit to hunt those who practice Magick. You have done
so indiscriminately, in numerous cases without provocation. You teach it
to your young and old alike. You teach that we in the North are your
enemy, as well as the Necromancers and the South, and the Druids of the
Woodland Realms.

In recent times, the North has taken the initiative to start a series of
confrontations with the Sands. The strength of our Magicks has made this
conflict rather one-sided. I have tried to contact you in private to
find an end to this, but you sputter at me as a confused child might.
You claim there was no reason for the attacks to begin.

I welcome you then to a year in the life of Kinsarmar. We are neither
imperialistic, nor zealous enough to conquer other nations. Always,
always we have been the victims, and that time has ended. As we have
shown, we will no longer act the part. Kinsarmar, alongside Khandava and
the few members of Celidon who care for anything outside of their cave
will continue to fight for the right to exist in peace.

Antioch has a rare opportunity to end a chapter of senseless hate. Cease
teaching that we are the enemy. Respect our practices. Leave us to our
own devices. That is all I ask to end this slaughter. No gold, no
executions, no hostages. I do not demand tribute or humiliation. I ask
for respect, and an end to this foolish religious feud.

If this can be arranged, than our civilizations can know peace and
advance to greater things. Otherwise, I shall personally enter this war
once more and lead the soldiers of Magick to destroy the desert once and
for all.
