Your Peace and Love Utopia

Written by: Sir Alesud al-Hamasa, Ironwood Archer

Poor, naive Jaxrilian.

Do you know what else is similar to a hurricane, a gale wind--another
force with which one cannot reckon? Chaos, destruction, and hate--not to
mention the appetite of a hungry Ithaquan. Just as you say one cannot
hide from love, you cannot hide from war nor brutality. Pacifism will
accomplish little in this realm, Shallite.

I am as happy when I am with my a'lion as I am feeling the blood and
life drain from an enemy as I tear his viscera from his body with my
javelin. It is a shared wonderful feeling between him and me. I am as
happy in love as I am with the death of the heretics by my hand or by
the hands of my allies. You cannot run or hide from reality.

Your peace and love utopia cannot exist so long as the wolves are
hungry. The cannibals of the Black Pines will find peace in our hearts
when our stomachs are full with the flesh of those that are too weak to
raise a hand to fend for themselves.

This opinion is my own, though quite possibly shared with the other
villagers of the Pines. But do recognize that the practices of the
Goddess of Peace and Love are disallowed in Ithaqua for a reason.
