Something's Rotten in Antioch- Your help requested!

Dearest World,

Most of you do not know me, for I am still very young. But I would like
to make it known that the last bastion of hope, the desert that I have
called my home, is no longer where I wish to live. Though most of you
would consider this posting, beneath your reading, I encourage you to
continue reading, to learn of the corruption that exists within the city
walls, and I would like you to contact me, and aide me in finding a new
city, where I will not be subject to such corrruption.

Recently a turn of events has happened in which, Andrea murdered another
citizen. I do not know much of this Andrea, but I know she is very bossy
and loud and has a temper that caused her to murder someone else. I also
know she does a lot of sucking up to the people in power ( and
consequently the people involved) To do this she buys them artifacts.
She has purchased artifacts for the following people (at least)
Song
Ageranu
Aislygn

After Andrea had, murdered Aislygn, which is against the constitution
and the law strictly prohibits another citizen ( it does not say,
without good reason, or without being instigated, note the line is drawn
at murder, end of sentance) and demands that the citizen, and punishment
is as such, a fine of 25k and enemying to the city for 5 years. Andrea,
after murdering Aislygn, proceeded with this, left the city, and paid
the fine, preparing to be enemied. However, the people, (Ageranu and
Song) asked her to come back (going against said laws) and did not make
her pay the fine, or the time. Instead decided of a "Probationary"
period) yes, probation, why? Because apparently giving artifacts to
people in power, gives you special privledges. Oh if we all had the
money and time to give our resources to random strangers in a game to
buy power.

Why do certain citizens get special treatment? Why do they get to break
the laws and get away with NO punishment. Where can I find a city that
strictly follows its own laws instead of making them up as they go.

Speaking of making up laws as they go, I ask you all to recall a time,
before my time, I was told a story, of a certain new, citizen to the
city, running against the Farah. Suddenly, an outraged leader (I will
leave her name out of it) removed him from the city claiming he wasn't a
citizen long enough, when no law deemed that at the time and he was
removed from the city. A law was made up on the spot, to deal with it.
And some how, some way, this, lack of following the law is okay. As
such, the timeline has continued in the following sense.

Posts were made for and against it. People rallied behind both.
Andrea continues to publicly flaunt that she got away with murder,
continues to order people around threaten them, tell them to stay out of
her way (Or she'll kill you and nobody will do anything about it
apparently)

So, please, I ask all of you.
Find me a city that can follows it laws.
Also, If paid enough credits I will rejoin antioch and if I get enough
artifacts that I deem, worthy, anyone I think should be allowed back as
a citizen and I will vouch for you and your good deeds.

Certainly magick and demons can't be as corrupt as the corruption that
comes with Andrea's artifacts.

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Tenebrae, in the year 585 AD.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
