Verbal attacks now?

Well since this seems like a now verbal attack upon Antioch's citizens I
think I would like to make my point.

Yes, I don't know how this war came about but I would like to point out
some things in Anthe's last post.

You think our city's non-combatants can go anywhere they want without
the fear of conflict? I started off as a follower of Lady Shallah,
meaning that I could not fight anyone even in defence of myself or a
friend or family. I couldn't even help defend in raids. I always felt as
though my actions would never get noticed because I was not out there
fighting. Yet I always got attacked whenever I was out of the city's
walls. I had to get used to being a constant target just because I was
"weak and vulnerable", do you know how that feels? Afraid to even leave
a city to explore, to hunt or to do anything. Eventually my own beliefs
wavered and I lost my resolve. I decided to become a combatant because I
was sick of feeling weak, sick of feeling vulnerable. But yet no matter
how much I tried to fight, no matter how much I tried to become strong,
I couldn't. It was only recently that I have realised that I knew what
my strength was all along. I will never be a fighter. I dislike
fighting. But I can be there to help my own citizens, to help my
friends, to help my family. I have once again decided to follow Lady
Shallah now that I know where my path lays.

Now also you say that Ageranu has his head stuck in the stand... Well
one I think you mean sand anyway but I'm not going to comment on that.
But Ageranu looks out for his fellow citizens. He does what he can to
keep everyone happy while keeping the city going. Ageranu cannot be
accountable for every single action that citizens of Antioch decide to
take. No-one can be accountable for things at that degree. Also you're
trying to say that Ageranu only looks out for citizens who are
combatants. I have to kindly but strongly disagree. My reason for this
is as follows;

Like I have already stated I have followed Mother and then stopped
before starting again. Even though I may have received a few more
favours when I was a combatant it was by no means how I would have
wanted to be noticed. But even when I followed Mother, Ageranu noticed
what I was doing even when they were the smallest of things. I know I
have gained Ageranu's trust in many things just by being who I am. Not
trying to be something I am obviously not.

Also just as a point to Andrea, you don't request favours. You work for
them like everyone else does. I have worked all my life in Antioch, I
never stop helping where I can. I never notice sometimes when I have got
a favour but favours mean nothing to me. Not saying I think they are
worthless but, favours are like a reward I suppose. If I get one then
I'm happy, but if I don't get one, then oh well. Life goes on. But I
don't expect one at the drop of a hat just because I have done
something. You have to be seen constantly helping out where it's
possible. Not just do something now and again and think that someone
noticed you doing that and you should get a favour for it.

Now also another point I would like to make a show of. During this war
when your citizens have raided Antioch, did you ever think yourselves
about the young, the innocent or the non-combatants? I highly doubt you
did since during the last raid I was killed. And I was a follower of
Mother. But did I suddenly raise Dis over it? No, I didn't. Instead I
calmly returned from Dis and rejected my grace instantly and got
blessing the citizens who were willing to defend the city to make it
safer. So don't try saying we don't take notice of combatant or
non-combatant when your people don't do any different.

Well I think that is all for my say in this.

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…
