Greetings, Jaenas.

The madness of your actions has shown that you are unworthy of
leadership. First you come to the Empire, seemingly in the spirit of
bargaining and cooperation. This month, you have come to us with
outrageous demands, including essentially making the Empire a province
of your pathetic little "city." Including giving up the worship of our
Gods. Unsurprisingly, you and your Mages were mercilessly slain.

What leader of a small group of limited power proposes to come to one of
great power with the idea of ruling them? What leader puts those he
leads in such great harm? The answer can only be one that is entirely
insane, and unfit to lead.

As such, I will now be taking over the rule of Skybreak. Any attempts at
protest or rebellion will be mercilessly crushed. Furthermore, if the
residents of Skybreak do not reveal their secrets of Aeromancy to myself
and the Empire, they will be summarily executed.

Residents of Skybreak. If you treat me with proper respect and accept my
leadership and conditions, you will find yourself flourishing under a
strong and capable leader. You will also find yourself under the
protection of the Empire, rather than the leadership of an obviously
demented man. If you do not, you will wish you had never come out from
under your rock.
