Marksman's Misguided Musings

I find it disappointing that the urge for petty revenge and a sensational victory proved greater than the need to do what was right. Even as Tomas, the discoverer and architect of the Hammer itself, pleaded with the world to see the truth, Aetherius chose, foolishly, to waste its power on an enemy whom, without leadership, posed little threat to its combined military might.

Kinsarmar's decision to take the Hammer for itself was grounded in the very real and concrete fact that the Horde was an infinitely greater threat than a few confused and disorganized demonic raiders. To deny this is to throw away two thousand years of evidence and ignore the generations upon generations of mortals that have been harassed, kidnapped, raped and tortured by the millions-strong greenskin army. Now, with no Hammer and no Gods to protect us, there will be nothing to stop them from repeating the atrocity of Caanae six more times.

The "Alliance" may have very well doomed our world.

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Naturalis, in the year 1 AM.
