It has been nearly a century and a half since the blight was introduced to Khandava. In that time, scores of refugees have fled their homes, terrified of the changes taking place within their idyllic little forest. Hundreds have averted their gaze from the Deadwoods, many filled with loathing even at the mention of the name. Though a veritable legion of you would question our ways, only a handful have truly ventured into the woods to discover the truth and power of the blight.

To that end, Khandava is officially opening its borders to well-meaning and curious outsiders. If you have done naught to draw the Deadwood's ire, you may immediately cross into our sovereign realm and explore. This includes the council proper. You may buy from our shops, speak with the locals, and learn more about us as a whole. All that we ask is that you treat us with courtesy, respect, and understanding. We will offer you the same in return.

For those who have been enemied to Khandava for whatever reason in the past, you may now approach myself or one of the other Deacons about resolving your status. A letter is the preferred method if you would like to officially begin the process, but we will work with you either way. It should be a relatively quick and painless deliberation, though you ought to have some measure of gold prepared, especially if your crimes against the Deadwood have been grave.

As an aside, I also ought to mention that the forest has been undergoing what appears to be a final transformation. You needn't be concerned about this, probably. Do mind the giant pits filled with teeth, however, as those have long been an issue and we will be unable to recover your corpse or any of your belongings. Apologies in advance.
