Let it be known that, as Celidon is usually a neutral onlooker to everything in the world, any action I take on the grand stage is independent of them or their views. They do not control me and I surely do not control them. My citizenship is merely a mutually benefitial arrangement, as they otherwise entirely lack muscle to repel the grabbing hands of expansionary mindsets.

It is for this reason that I have found it reasonable for me to intervene on behalf of multiple parties from time to time; I am genuinely above the petty conflict of our common mortal moral axis and thus wish to pursue my own goals in the manners I see fit. This does not preclude me from my own prejudices, of course. However, on the topic of our most common battlegrounds such as shards, you will find that my allegiance will align with those that need it then and there.

I am my own man. I have my own ends to achieve. Any action I take is deliberate and represents only the machinations of Sarrius I. Chytovil, not a political or military move by what is essentially an apolitical non-entity. Nothing I do, with this clarification, is for Celidon. If it does benefits Celidon, it was deliberately done to do so and will be very obvious. I don't think they'll be declaring war any time soon, however, so I think this was already clear to the collective genius of most of our populace.

As an aside.. I have stood alongside many of you, from each corner of this godless world, for but a fleeting moment at the very least. As you can imagine, I do not brook xenophobia. It saddens me to see a city embrace isolation as a way to promote purity. You can find no discourse or realism when you surround yourself with a reality of your own making.

Tread lightly, Antioch. Tenuous is the foothold of political entities, in an age bereft of Gods to shield you - a single slip might spell a landslide.
