Greetings Brothers and Sisters of Aetherius,
As the season comes and goes, I just wanted to say that I appreciate all of you. Those of you that I 'hate' or 'dislike', as well as those I consider my family or close friends. Allies. Enemies. It doesn't truly matter, for we all play a part and have a view that we feel is just and right. Or perhaps we just love bathing in the blood of our chosen enemies. Either way, we fight for what we believe, and against those that threaten to weaken our holdings and beliefs, whatever they might be.
Regardless of who you are, if we've met, if we've not, if we've argued, laughed together, been at each other's throats, thrown rumors out about each other, comforted each other. Whoever you are, you're part of this world as much as I am, and I think that's beautiful.
A lot of people know me for my work with designs, some might not know me at all. Some people know me simply as a bitch.. because.. well.. I can be one. And more, really. I am passionate and stubborn, and that often translates into bitchiness. What a lot of folk might not know about me though, is how deeply I care about Aetherius as a whole. I am a Magicker, but I also grew up following Lord Danaglas, the God that embodied the meaning of true enlightenment. It was never about strict tenets that could ONLY be followed by Magickers. Though many lumped Him into being a God of 'Magick'. He wasn't. He accepted Anti-magickers and Demoners alike into His fold. For He above any understood that one's path is not a simple boring straight line. Their entire being is made from their experiences as a whole and their choices. He taught me that our paths can be different, we can have differences, fight over them, and still share in the same basic concept of the world. Learning and understanding our experiences, leads us to a path of our own understanding of ourselves.
I hope that people can seek to be more understanding of each other. But in this, that doesn't mean you have to change your fight for what you believe in. Fight for what you believe in and stand for, but be aware that other are simply doing the same thing.
Put less drama into the world. Everyone hates drama. Conflict is nice, because it breeds the desire to do better. But drama is something that effects the well being of one's soul, so try and keep it within the realms of reason. Try not to hurt others out of spite, or to try and get an emotional reaction out of them. It breeds a darker form of hate that goes beyond this world, and that is not healthy.
Bring more joy and happiness to others, and that joy and happiness will spread, and there will be less drama, and more understanding and a greater chance for a deep, personal enlightenment.
Whoever you are, wherever you are, I hope your season is bright and merry and that your friends and family are held close to your heart. If you are alone, know that there is someone out there that is wishing you the greatest of joys this season.
Over the next week, or two, depending on if others will also seek to support this cause with me, I will be giving away random gifts to people. Some Stockings, if/when I get them, others will simply be credits, or vouchers for designs made by me. Because shameless self promotion (Not really.. I rarely design these days, you wackos are lucky I'm making these vouchers!)
