Greetings to my fellow dwellers of the realm, and to my own citizens.
If you have been up to date on Celidon politics, you will understand why tact may be a bit wore from the braying of a unnamed protester bent on a personal war path, so I do apologize to all if a mania has overcome me. Let me summarize.
I took over a discarded home, I made choices, I have given the reasons my choices were made, I have publicly asked my people for input, I have told my objectors to please take a position of leadership to balance views against my own bias. I have been met with a silence, or a repeat of inane fantasies, no longer.
The previous Emeris of Celidon felt the need to antagonize the Towers, or the Towers were applying pressure, regardless, friction. This leads to war, a war that while many citizens fought and died in, it was that, a war, and in the name of peace, there will be crude stitching needed to maintain it at first.
The claims that my whims are subsumed by the Barons goals,is a joke, a fiction, as though I have any reason to? No, not at all, but do I have a reason to want my council at peace, and I would feed every strategic resource Kinsarmar wanted to a humgii by the wheelbarrow if I thought it would keep them to their walls. I would empty the vaults and hire the other sides of the Triad to raze their city, if it would bring peace. And a half dozen other ideas that would more then likely end my council forever then save it.
And instead of those bombastics, we bought peace with peace, not forgiving, but accepting the crimes of war should smolder for the next conflict, instead of a grand collapse into war eternal, we can finally stop guarding our own backs for a few decades, repair our defenses, and meet our old ally at the table as something more then the battered mess we are.
To those outside this little circle of politic, I apologize for taking up your time with this zoo. Know Celidon is open to any who do not wish us harm
