Speaking as a young Antiochan

Speaking as a young Antiochan, I must say that those who were tortured
and fell prey were probably fairly weak in the first place. Good
riddance, we don't need them. They tend not to be worth our time anyway.

And did I hear that capture and torture isn't a bad thing? I am just a
humble Lyke, not versed in the ways of torture. But it seems to me that
torture would most likely be a "bad" thing, not something I would clear
out my evenings for.

And as for your "Unity" that is Stavenn...Rampant ego stroking, self
gratification, torture, and demon summoning seems much much better than
the alternative of Antioch, what was I thinking? Are you handing out
travel pamphlets? Stavenn sounds like such a quaint little tourist trap.
Gosh, I must have been blind all this time. Please forgive me for being
an individual and making choices and not falling in line for the
hegemonic power that is Stavenn. For that I truly apologize. Gosh, I
should march to your city and beg forgiveness for my transgressions,
otherwise what will I do?

Oh, that's right, I can shake in my boots inside the walls of Antioch.
How forgetful of me. I should get on that right away...

Or maybe I can laugh myself silly.

Yeah, I think I'll do that instead. It sounds more entertaining.
*smirk*.
