6.25 The Libraries of Imperian
You will find several libraries scattered through out the land, within the cities and councils of Imperian. Many books, journals and scrolls are hidden within these sacred places. Only those who understand how these places operate will be able to learn their hidden mysteries. ------ General Library Commands: The following commands can be used by anyone in a library. LIBRARY CATALOG [category] This will give you a listing of all the books in the library. If you add a [category] it will only display the books of that category. LIBRARY CATALOG AUTHOR [name] This will give you a listing of all the books in the library written by the Author. LIBRARY CATEGORIES This will list all the categories available in the library. LIBRARY DONATE <item> [category] This will donate a book, journal, scroll or tome to the library. Once you donate you will not be able to get it back unless the library supervisor will get it for you. You can also place the book into a category by specifying where you would like the book placed. Your book will not show up in the catalog until it has been approved. LIBRARY BUY <item> See a book you like? You can buy an exact replica for 5000 gold. Be warned, you cannot modify books you have purchased in this fashion. READ <item> PAGE <page number> You can read any book in a library with this command. ------ Librarian Commands: Only those in certain positions will have access to these commands. For example if a city owns a library the Minister of Culture, or any position with the Culture power, will have access to these commands. For guilds it will be the secretaries and the guildmaster. LIBRARY VIEW SUBMISSIONS This command will allow you to view any books that have been submitted. LIBRARY APPROVE <item> Approve a book that has been submitted to your library. LIBRARY REMOVE <item> Remove a book from your library to your inventory. (Approved or not) LIBRARY MOVE <item> <category> Change the category of a book. LIBRARY CATEGORY ADD <category> Add a new category to your library. Category names cannot contain spaces. LIBRARY CATEGORY REMOVE <category> Remove a category from your library.
