5.4.42 Profession Skill - Terratheria (Mage)
Terratheria is the secondary skillset of the Mage profession, wielding raw magick in the forms taken by the evocation of the air and earth magick. Indeed, it has a close cousin in the Druidic skill of Evocation, but where Druidic Evocation focuses on manipulating and mastering existing, natural manifestation of those elements, Terratheria is manifesting the raw diachaim of air and earth magick directly.
While Pyroglacia can be thought of as a largely offensive skillset with a few utility abilities, Terratheria is the inverse: it largely focusses on defensive spells. With enough ability, the mage can form distracting Reflections of themselves, coat themselves in Stoneskin to make up for their lack of armour, Windscribe magical symbols in the air to travel to at a moments notice to get our of danger (or just get around quickly!) and Blink past obstructions your enemy may place. The transcendent master of the Terratheria skillset can even take the form of wind itself by using the Windbrace spell, to travel largely undetected and unimpeded.
Of course, these are but a few examples, and you do still have offensive spells, such as Batter, Knockout, and Lightning to use against your foes.
Terratheria is used by the Mage (HELP MAGE) profession.
