12.7.9 The Bardosi Plains
Once a rich forest, the Bardosi Plains were formed some ten thousand years ago
when a dormant volcano in the Eastern Nolmine Heights erupted in a ferocious
blast. A cloud of soot rose skywards and was carried north by the Halitus
winds. As the wind shifted the soot fell and covered the Bardosi Forest killing
all that lived. For thousands of years the Bardosi Forest was nothing more than
a grey wasteland. Over the years the climate became more moist and seeds blown
from other parts of Aetherius were able to take root. Soon small grasses were
poking above the soot, finally turning the wasteland into the Bardosi Plains.
