Daily Credit Generation

This post is a basic outline of how characters will be able to earn credits in the game starting later this week (Wednesdayish). Keep in mind this does not include lessons characters will earn from doing achievements. Characters will be able to earn about 10K more lessons from the easier achievements later this week.

This post outlines how characters will be able to get credits from personal and org activities.

Completing specific tasks in-game will earn your character up to 20 credits per day. Once per day you will earn a 5 credit reward, 4 credits, and so on until you've earned 20 credits. The timer on these rewards will reset every day at midnight GMT. Your character will earn these credits by completing the following tasks:

- Completing a spawnwave.
- Killing a boss mob.
- Completing some specific in-game quests.
- Every hour you're a champion and not in a safe city, towne, or house. Must be online.
- Every 12 hours of monolith control time your character has. Do NOT have to be online.
- Pillaging a caravan until nothing is left in it.
- Collecting the most shards from a shardfall.

Cities and councils will also generate credits on a yearly basis (about every 12 days). Leaders can distribute credits however they want. The number of credits generated is based on how active the org is in the following activities.

- Attacking and defending obelisks.
- Raiding and defending raids.
- Attacking caravans (Yes, the org earns points and characters get credits)
- Number of shards added to your generator.

We will add additional ways to affect your org score in the future as we see how well this plays out.

We purposely have not based the number of credits earned on how many obelisks you own or raiding objectives you have captured, as we are looking for constant activity. In order to earn credits in your org, you must be actively participating in the systems listed above. You do not need to actually win an activity, such as attempting a raid. You will get points for attempting (and actually attacking).

This is subject to change before release and over the next few weeks as we get feedback and tweak the results. Feel free to message any questions you may have.

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Vita, in the year 171 AM.

However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
