Near the end of Solis, a curious little creature fell from the sky into
Kinsarmar. Almost going unnoticed this little frost pixie began to
complain of his wounds before noticing he had gotten the attention of
some of the city's citizens. Norgath began questioning the small being.
It began to push over a small rock at the crossroads, pointing up at
those around it and then pushing the rock again. After a couple tries,
Norgath caught on to what the pixie was trying to mime. Excited that
someone understood it, the pixie flew around him before encouraging him
to follow it out of the city.

Both Raini and Norgath followed the pixie out onto the highway and up
into the Vardarian. They passed through the highlands into the forest
before passing into Tayar and beyond into the valley. Along the way
Norgath was forced to turn back, leaving only Raini to aide the pixie.
They ventured up into the mountains before coming back down into a cold
and icy forest. As they went into the trees, the pixie quickly stopped
and sniffed at the air.

A tall Sylayan woman lept from the trees, ensnaring the young pixie, and
was quickly joined by a tall Lycaean and Sylayan man. After some
questioning and explanations, the man introduced himself as Hantra,
chief of the Merma and explained to the intruder that his village has
kept safe within the Aoash forest for many, many years. When he became
comfortable with the outsider's story, he dismissed his villagers and
introduced Raini to many of the other denizens.

Who knows how the chief will welcome other visitors or what secrets this
forest and its people hold.
