The battle continues...

As the attempts of Stavenn to gather the slivers needed for their
abominable replica of Ki continue, many in Antioch choose to argue
amongst themselves and with Zohri, allowing the Empire to gain ground.

A resplendent tree now resides in Khandava, being tended by those
touched and allied to the forces of magick. As the tree is nurtured with
particles of the elements, it slowly begins to release pure magick into
the heavens towards the sickly greenish yellow orb known as Ki. Will
magick destroy Ki or will they suffuse it with such power it becomes
their own satellite? While the Prophet of Khandava and the Duke of
Kinsarmar led the directive, they discovered a traitor in their midst
attempting to void their efforts. Despite this, they accepted the
alliance of Celidon in this undertaking to assist them in pulling Ki
into the realm of magick.

Astyanax, the Raven Prince took a rare journey to Ithaqua, to ask those
gathered if they would choose to involve themselves in the battles for
Ki. They gave the great raven the answer the Vagrant Lord suspected and
hoped for. They cared not to involve themselves in a confrontation that
has no benefit to them, nor to the Pines. It was stated that each
Ithaquan would choose their own path in the matter. As it should be.

The outcome is soon to be revealed.

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Aequitas, in the year 570 AD.
