The triumph of the Empire

As the world can see for themselves with each new day, the Empire was
triumphant in the battle for the sun. No longer will the sun of
Impending Doom be called Ki, but Argum, an ancient word in the Gazhari
tongue which means Fury. The once chartreuse satellite is now blackened
with the corruption, and bearing the crimson streaks of Wrath.

The people of magick were within reach of succeeding, and winning the
day with their own efforts. Had it not been for the traitorous actions
of false friends, the orb would have been converted by the Arcane.
Within a matter of months the people of Kinsarmar and Khandava had
nearly overtaken the Empire. Celidon joined the cause later, but it was
too late to triumph.

The people of Antioch made a valiant attempt, but in the course of the
months that followed the start of this tumult in the skies, they could
not retain the sun.

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Ultio, in the year 570 AD.
