love is nothing but a hoax
people smile and laugh
swear forever
while their hearts are already in motion
so you stay away
you're to smart for that
you know love is bull
you won't be going back
But you fall for friendship
surely it's different
you know your friends are true
you'll be able to depend on them
they'll be able to depend on you
then they turn one day
and gut you without warning
what happened to friendship
it's gone before morning
you can't depend on anyone
you should know better by now
friendship is bull
just as much as love.
in this life
you have allies and enemies
one can quickly turn to the other
don't let you mind confuse the two
trust yourself
noone else
depend on yourself
noone else
because the first time you begin to believe
that friendship is the way to be
you find out
it's nothing but moonlight and lies.
