What I Can Not Give

Written by: Disciple of the Dance, Moriaquinn
Date: Wednesday, January 5th, 2005
Addressed to: Everyone

Of course you see me now, beyond the cage of my youth
Of course now I see you for who you are, I am shattered by the image
My heart dashed upon the shore of your desires

What I wish, you would deny
What you desire, I can not give

What ocean is this that washes over me
What tears are these that I cry over you
My sea of life unrelenting

What I wish, you would deny
What you desire, I can not give

Forgive me, for I can not fulfill you
Forget me, for it will always be so
Remember, I will always love you
Guilt, no, only regret of our conflicting views

What you wish is what I can not give you
What you deny, well, you will never know will you?

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Bellum, in the year 452 AD.
