To Rufus, the silver-smith

Written by: Wren Kith'Vahni, Spring Rain
Date: Thursday, May 12th, 2005
Addressed to: Everyone

I pass the forge and though it's cold
I feel the heat and fire bold
And if I can't paruse what's sold
I'll send a secret smile

The kindness you have shown to me
Though it seemed it couldn't be
Makes my heart for sure set free
Despite the current weighing

First one gift and then again
Tittering as if it were a sin
Scandalous, delicious, nice but then...
So sweet and tantalizing.

So forgive me all, if I swoon
For this kindly gentleman whom
I'd rather kiss than some big goon
Who seem to come a plenty

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Aequitas, in the year 462 AD.
