Undone

Doubtless but dauntless
Chaotic and cautious,
Needy or needed
All warnings unheeded.
Things change in time
Their natural course,
But forced through this grind
Screams have gone hoarse.
The turbulence thunders through these veins
This horse has no reins,
Onward onward away from the pains
Burning the bridges so nothing remains.
This heart has no body
This body, no head,
No rest for the wicked
No love for the dead.
Alone yet existing
The wandering stilled,
dOUBTFULL BUT DAUNTLESS
Nothing is willed.
Refused of its ending
Its granted a choice,
cHAOTIC AND CAUTIOUS
Tries to speak with no voice.
Memories that be
Stop and stare,
nEEDY OR NEEDED
Nothing is there.
This price was too high,
aLL WARNINGS UNHEEDED,
I suppose after all, that all this was needed.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Ferinus, in the year 534 AD.
