Rag-tag hooligans

Written by: Harker Sunjackal, Ithaquan Ranger

It's always a pleasure to see an Arboreal actually stand up and make a
noise in defense of his forests. Cuyler, your words are bravely spoken
and fairly too.

It may interest you, and many of your esteemed colleagues in the south,
to note that Wardens are not the merchant concoctionists you have grown
to expect. Wardens are forbidden by guild law to leave fewer than 30 of
any herb they harvest. An easy guild law to follow, as we really are not
concoctionists, and can only coax so many out of the ground at once. So
if there's fewer than 30 of a plant in a room, lad, a Warden was not the
last to harvest.

You can't be faulted for listening to the words of your guildmates
though, Cuyler. It's truly refreshing to see you stand up and say your
piece, even when it might have landed you in somewhat warm water with
those Divine leaderless hooligans. But if you find the land's been raped
of her harvest, son, look to those who can do the raping. We take what
we need to survive, no more. It's not in our nature, nor our intent, to
take what is there for conversion to elixir or gold. It is our nature,
and our intent, to live off the land, and see what there is to see.

See how effective that was? An arboreal approached an issue with the
Wardens, and both sides learned from it. Truly an Event.

Your Crazy Cannibalistic Uncle in the North,
Harker

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Solis, in the year 436 AD.

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…
