Wardens and the Ilaferi

The Ilaferi is not a guild of warmongers. I say this because none in
their ranks is even known to participate actively in combat. I find it
extremely difficult to believe that they would seek to procure the wrath
of the Wardens without reason.

That being said, if they accuse a man of rape under these consequences,
then he is guilty of said crime. Whether or not he is a Warden is
irrelevant. He is their prisoner to try and punish as they please. I can
say with a great deal of certainty that should I offend or hurt any of
you, you will not refer me to my superiors for punishment, rather you
will attempt to avenge yourself using your own methods.

It is true that holding him indefinitely does prevent him from
inflicting his vileness upon innocent women, but it also perpetuates
this conflict, which is quite unnecessary. Castrate him and relieve him
of any tools he might use in inflicting harm upon women in the future,
and then let him go. I would be interested in seeing him attempt to hurt
another woman in the future with no means of doing so.

Phoen, you answer to no one but your people. Plead not your case, for
his crimes are enough to elicit the appropriate response from the
majority of the world.

Silken Pae'ganis.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Ultio, in the year 437 AD.
