Basically, in a less long winded way. Iriaen considers you and yours of
the same inbred, ignorant cloth that spawned Cander and Inyvon and those
like them. These cretins betrayed everything they earned, turning
against every friend they ever had. They did it not for a hatred of
magick, not for a love of magick or even for the glory of the Empire
itself. There is no rhyme or reason to their actions. They do not take
booty, they do not amass treasure, pride or power. These are the people
of which Stavenn considers you equal to, by the words of one of
Stavenn's own aristocracy.

In short, if you are truly the mindless, bastardized children of a once
upstanding faith, profession or noble bloodline, the Nessaja's and the
Imperator are more than ready to welcome the new cretins into the fold.
