Dearest Kabal,

Your attempt to twist the respect I have shown for Tomast, the Cleric,
and my devotion to his ideas into some form of childish infatuation does
not surprise me. Although your concern for the way I lead my life
touches me, I would like to formally reject your invitation to your way
of life. Your way of life is what changed the relative peacefulness of
Caanae into the bloodstained land that still exists today. Your callous
disregard for those of us who chose to live life with our own daily
struggles without the worry of being sent to Dis has been noticed by
many.

One thing that I will agree with you is the matter of Aryana's Spring
being seen as a blessing and not a crutch to the original Founders. It
is a blessing and should be seen as a sacred spot to be revered for the
blessings that it gives to each of us fortunate to be submerged into its
waters. Tis was such a revered spot that a temple to Lord Avasyu was
constructed behind it by the original Founders, yet somehow that Divine
reverence has been lost. Each time a killing occurs there, the more we
spit upon the memory of our Founders and their struggles.

I, like others, do not turn away from the suffering and pain which comes
naturally to our daily lives, but the senseless violence needs to be
taken from this area and I am not alone in thinking these thoughts. I
have died many times at the Spring for my simple requests to take the
fighting elsewhere and have stated that I will die more if necessary
until the citizens of Aetherius ban together to stop the needless
violence at the Spring.

Do not fool yourself, Kabal and those who would kill repeatedly in this
area. Hunting down your enemies at the Spring is tantamount to shooting
fish in a barrel. There is no combat saavy nor great strategy needed, no
special skill required to hunt them down. It's simply showing up and
blatant killing. I say remove the barrel and see how well you do in your
vengeful killing of others when you need to actually do some work for
your kills.

To those who I know are out there and have grown tired of the violence
and seek a change at least in this one area of the realm, I urge you to
write letters to your Divine. Let them know how you feel. Speak out loud
of this injustice and soon They will realize this problem needs to be
taken care of in Caanae.
