Magick and the Divine

I stand by my words about mortal's dependence on magicks being
disrespectful and blasphemous of the Divine. Those who depend on magicks
do so out of greed, reaching for powers that has been proven time and
time again that they cannot comprehend the depth of, and cannot control.
I do not need to, and will not give examples of the distress the so
called good magicks has brought to our world.

It is true that magick can be used to heal and to do a variety of other
wonderful deeds, however, as the saying goes, not all that glitters is
gold, and magick is certainly not gold. In numerous parts of our world,
magicks have been known to cause surges and backfire on the user. I do
not understand how any mortal can claim to be in control when this is
the case. Unless the argument is that mortal's control over magicks can
only be complete in certain parts of the land, which sounds quite
ludicrous.

I did not intend to start a debate on magicks when I initially posted. I
was merely stating things that we know to be true.

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Ultio, in the year 457 AD.
