The long road ahead

Greetings Lady Wren,

Once upon a time I walked your streets and I considered your city a
potential ally of the empire. I even helped organize your city defenses
as Ashel, your security minister might recall. Yet you took my good will
with one hand and with the other, slapped me in the face. Today, I once
again walked your streets with allies, my brothers in arms, and when our
work was done, the flagstone streets of the fortress of the north ran
red with the blood of your people.

Please, take the time to wander to the lands of your ancestors in Caanae
if this destruction fails to convince you of your folly. It is not in
your best interests to make an enemy of the empire as it was not in the
best interests of your ancestors. Whenever you are ready to embrace the
empire of Stavenn, the destruction will cease. These childish notions of
light and dark magick are pure subjectivity, realize this and you will
reach your potential.

In darkness,
Lord Sparda Gazali

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Fas, in the year 462 AD.
