Dear Duchess,

When first this conflict broke out, I was freshly admitted into the
apprenticeship of my schooling, rather ignorant I will admit.

Being loathe to remain ignorant I sought out an audience with yourself
after gathering information and opinion from my home so that I might
make a balanced judgement of what was going on around me. Previous to
this, I visited each of the councils and cities to form a view of them
for myself but I will come back to that soon.

Our meeting went well for the most part and my respect was held. Even
when the elderly fellow with the special ring arrived to taunt me and
spoil the mood of our talk did I find answers to some things I had been
in the dark on. It was toward the end that you became defensive and
aggressive, proving that a mere apprentice could hold far greater cool
in logical discussion over matters of differing opinion. This lost my
respect, whether you care or not, it was a deciding factor in my
writing.

Firstly, I would say Erege Valarauko gave you too much credit, too much.
As a hobbyist and one day (once my studies in the field of Daemonology
are complete) full-time student in the art of torture and manipulation,
I would be appalled to think breaking under pressure in the smallest of
situations could ever amount to a skilled practioner in an art that
relies on being the dominant.

Secondly, is it not said, alls fair in love and war? I believe guerilla
tactics have been working and so why would the Empires men and women up
the risk for such foolish logic as it is more 'Honourable'. I believe
all that your city has done is defend itself against our onslaught and
as I write this, Kinsarmarian blood spills.

Lastly, I do stand in support of the Imperators view on this. It serves
a purpose and once that purpose is fulfilled, it will end and peace will
be restored.

May you choose wisely your next move,

Eol Caladwen

However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
