I was going to post this just to Kinsarmar, but I realized it would be
swept under the amethyst rug in the amethyst temple of the amethyst city
of amethysts. It would be followed by some ill conceived attempt by
Mathiu or Wren to portray me as being upset I 'lost' something in a city
I really never had much vested in. So, this is my political trick of
removing their ability to come before Kinsarmar and pull the "woe is me"
act and forcing them into the limelight, which they so enjoy, defending
themselves in predictable fashion.
I've been around Kinsarmar for awhile, too long in retrospect, so I've
kind of gotten jist of how the current 'in' clique functions. Back in
the day, it was the Lokrien's fault that Kinsarmar was a hypocritical
sex pool that just kind of exuded this please beat me aura. At the time,
I road on the bandwagon with everyone else throwing rocks at the
Lokrien's as they stumbled their way into oblivion. To this day I am
still giddy over being involved in the downfall of the Lokriens, but I
have realized that they were not the root of the problem that has
imperiled Kinsarmar.
There has always been a guiding organization behind the politics of
Kinsarmar. It is really no secret who and what they are. The faces have
changed over the years but the creed of deniability and finger pointing
has remained the same for over fifty years. In the beginning it was the
Lokrien's fault, then it was Milanthor's fault, then it was Raife's
fault, then it was the mage's fault, then it was Laia's fault, then it
was Ashel's fault, then it was Laia's fault again, then it was Eloweth's
fault, then it was Laia's fault yet again, then it was Wysrias' fault,
then it was Anarion's fault and then it was Ashel's fault, its Stavenn's
fault, its Ithaqua's fault, its Antioch's fault, Lorccan's fault, its
Aten's fault, its Pyrael's fault, its Syric's faultyou get the idea.
While Wren may call me falsely arrogant, I do believe my meager
intellect has uncovered a pattern.
For years, a select few of the Amethyst order, the order of the Seasons,
those of the Wheel Walker, whatever they call themselves this month,
have often vied for power at all costs behind the curtains of Kinsarmar.
While always giving everything to kinsarmar, without ever giving much,
they have selflessly served Kinsarmar. Despite being emotionally
distraught, misunderstood, medicated, sexually forgotten, abused, picked
on or otherwise unfairly treated, as if other people don't experience
the same. They'll boast they've 'fixed' Kinsarmar and led the city to a
new age of enlightenment and reason. The truth of the matter is
Kinsarmar is honestly the same as it has always been, it's just under a
remodeled management. Aside from pilfering ideas from their so called
friends and allies, only to backstab them ninety percent of the time,
the behavior and rules of the elitists have pretty much remained the
same as we've mowed through three generations of poor breeding.
I believe we need a few modern examples.
Wysrias, Laia and Syric and the mages were to thank for the modern
defense of Kinsarmar which led to the stalemate which led to the peace
of the war between Kinsarmar and Antioch. Were it not for the sophomoric
behavior of the heathens of Stavenn, Kinsarmar might be a glorified
petting zoo. But alas, the Neanderthals came and bailed us out in our
time of need and took it for the team like the champs they are.
Unfortunately, you'll see no mention of the efforts of those three, you
won't even see rewards of favours handed out. These three did not agree
with the current regime and were thus never rewarded, whilst cretins
like Anarion and Neko were claimed as heroes and saviors in war time.
The only 'combat' they took part in, was strategic breaching of the
satin walls of young womens skirts in the back room of a house deep
inside Kinsarmar protected by the grace of the gods.
Niara and Ashel sought to lead Kinsarmar as Erege's and were turned away
because they were not citizens for long enough. Given I am old and
tainted by logic, but I believe Ashel and Niara were around Kinsarmar
for eight or so years, give or take. But of course, not agreeing with
the hidden regime, Ashel and Niara were turned away, where the
pet-phallus of the regime was not.
Raife and Anarion. I remember when the Chalice Clique was hot on the
heals of Raife to cast him out as a follower of ruin, but now the
Chalice bearer engages in long, emotional chit chats beneath the
moonlight with the spawn of death who made no attempt to hide who he
was. Raife did more good for the mages and Kinsarmar, but never spoke of
it. Anarion did very little for Kinsarmar, but he talked about a lot,
which I presume has more value than actually results.
Neko. I'm supposed to call him "Sir" or something along those lines.
It's a silly tradition the mages have embraced, giving respect and honor
as a sign of mutual respect to those who really have done nothing to
warrant or merit their titles. Like Anarion, there are tomes of Neko's
exploits, but there is very little evidence to be cited when actually
exploring his legend. However, he serves as a ranking member and
low-level enforced of the Chalice Clique, scampering around doing their
dirty work and starting strife to be capitalized on by 'harassment'
laws.
That should about do it.
All in all, there is pretty much an infinite amount of corrupting,
two-faced decisions, open bias, lies and deceit that the Chalice Clique
has performed while pointing the finger at everyone who dared to oppose
them or stray from their 'fine line' of Amethystian behavior. In that
statement, I mean people who sought reasonable solutions to problems
rather than falling to ones knees before the amethyst altar wailing
"Father, Father!" or humming a few bars of illuma while deftly
unclasping a dress or two. Woe is he who denies the aid of a God and
takes his life into his own hands!
I'd like to clarify that I respect and revere the Copper Prince. I will
however state that his children are spoiled little runts, from which
there is little or no escape. Even when they've got it as good as it
gets, there is an incessant amount of melodrama and backstabbing to be
had.
I expect that Mathiu or Machival or Wren will launch into a tirade based
on the following argument, "NUHUH!" It will be riddled with snide
comments in a vane attempt to mimic my own and assuage their
insecurities. My post will be long forgotten beneath a heap of "nuhuh!"
and other variants and the purpose and cause will ultimately be lost.
Either way, I'm a sucker for a good futile challenge, I married Wysrias
for love and pleasure
Penned by my hand on the 8th of Tenebrae, in the year 476 AD.
