Your Misconceptions

Greetings, Ithaquan.

You seem to have a few misconceptions regarding the goals of the Phoenix
Reaches. Allow me to clear them up for you.

Celidon allows magick within its walls. It also lacks the laws that so
many other places have regarding demons. While I would personally prefer
demons safely tucked away within their rifts, and far away from the
Council, Celidon removed the law for a reason that has been explained
both privately and publicly several times. Allow me to repeat the
reasoning for you- perhaps it will penetrate your unfortunately overly
thick skull.

Celidon has never been "tormented" by demons as other places apparently
have. As such, the law against demons that used to be in place was only
there due to pressure from the cities. Some years ago, the council
ceased to care about what civilization thought of it, and removed the
law. Should demons actually do any harm to the council, I am sure that
our Emeris and Advisors will move to re-evaluate the matter. Until then,
Celidon stands against civilization. That the council as a whole does
not subscribe to the same set of beliefs as Ithaqua (though, it was not
so long ago that necromancy was allowed within that forest, was it?) is
Celidon's business.

Regarding declarations, yes. As with every council and city within
Aetherius, Celidon defends its territory. The public declarations
regarding plants and groves are necessary because those concoctionists
who are not part of a guild or council will likely not see such
declarations. Let Celidon worry about Celidon, Ithaquan monk. Go back to
gnawing on the bone of a true enemy, such as the demons that you claim
to hate so much.

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
