To any concerned about the construction in Egeria:

I don't believe anyone gives a flying flip about whose jurisdiction the
current debacle you call a building project falls under. I'm sorry, but
waiting three months to allow those that desecrate the place to amiably
make their way somewhere else just doesn't work. Even if the "cleared"
area is for a Divine firelight show, the fact it was cleared should ring
some bells. Albeit, it's alright, he was given permission by the
forestal council that currently has its name stamped on the area.

What? I'm sorry, the permission was revoked... because they're no longer
comfortable with the location? Did someone move the place and just not
inform the populace at large so it's suddenly changed and become a
problem?

No, you're right, it didn't move. That's just some random backsliding
done to help alleviate any consideration that maybe allowing such a
thing to happen even after they CLEARED land of living trees and such
was a bad idea. Heck, why don't we just pay them for their troubles...
cutting down those trees.

Oh... right, they are paying them.

Take your jurisdiction as you call it and do something useful with it,
light a campfire with the paper it's written on. Until you can
demonstrate the "protection of Nature" portion of your Council's decree,
let people that are willing and able to, handle it.
