Disillusioned Prophetess

I normally don't have much to say to the general populace with the going
ons in the Empire, however when some tend to keep their heads so high in
their dreamland, I feel a reality check is due.

Prophetess, while you skip about and pretend that you actually lead your
citizens, let me explain to you very slowly what has actually festered,
and how your own councilmates condemn you and your magicks.

The Empire never cared much what happened to Kinsarmar until it was made
known that the antimagick zealots have shown their true colors. Now that
Ithaqua has stepped up to do what they were never able to, they feel
themselves above the very magicks even you use yourself.

After seeing Kinsarmar under siege for several months, by Lorccan, Kabal
and Rasca, those who share the same magicks as you decided to strike
back. A very brave move for the city of the north. In the meantime, your
council, the one that uses the very magicks as Kinsarmar, sat back and
giggled as their fellows were condemned.

While your husband and your councilmates did little to even support the
very guild you are a part of, Stavenn stepped in and gave the city the
extra support to stop total destruction. I hope you were nice and lit up
on whatever alcohol it is you drink out there, because your allies in
belief are not served drinks in Dis.

Your husband, your councilmates, and your relatives all banded to
support the antimagick zealots in their conquest. Some of your
councilmates being completely antimagick themselves, you allow them to
fight against that which you wield and use daily. It's ironic how some
of these people lead such false lives, yourself included. A test of the
magickal forces in Aetherius was given, and a handful of your
councilmates prove to be against the very ways of the council they live
in. How odd, you find such people who disagree with your lifestyle, to
live and lead alongside of you. Do you condemn the very magicks you
wield?

There is no alliance. If you'd put down the mug and get out of your snug
bedroom, perhaps you would start realizing that your own guildmates are
suffering from this while you support your councilmates in fighting for
zealots. It is a joke to see a Bardess approve of such insanity, and I
believe you must question your own position before even thinking about
questioning the lives and the risks taken to ensure their futures.

Stavenn could care less of how bad Silken wants to be part of
Kinsarmar's politics. However the risk of magick being purged itself is
a greater risk than any there is. While the magickal Prophetess of
Khandava would rather see her councilmates fighting for zealots than
those of her own kind, Stavenn stepped in and helped push such a
two-front threat back.

Kaelin has informed me that his city no longer requires the Empire's
assistance. They still suffer. Yet their allies in faith, wielded
powers, and friendship is denied because of a few arrogant Arboreals who
forsake magick whilst calling their home a magickal council. I say that
because not many of us truly see you lead more than being pushed around
by said people.

I hope you figure out what you're doing. It certainly is funny to the
rest of us to see Khandava be run by a bunch of antimagickers, while
their own leader is of magickal belief. In the meantime, those of the
Empire will tread wherever they wish.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
