The Account of Kragge

It is now often that I write on these forums, but since I was asked, I
will add my eyewitness report of what happened at Kragge.

Stavenn claims to protect its villages, but in truth, their relationship
with their villages is one built on death and manipulation. A dwarf
worker told me thus: Kragge, under Kuleno's rule, was offered Stavennite
"protection". Kuleno scoffed at this offer, turning it down. After this,
Stavenn forced its "protection" upon Kragge by burning the village,
killing the inhabitants, and crucifying Kuleno live.

This is where I, Brydian Sunjackal, come in. I discovered Kuleno
crucified as I was making my way through the Nolmines. Aliandus, one of
the Coterie I believe, was also there, trying to get him down from the
cross, where he was groaning. I put out the flames within Kragge,
killing the Stavennite guards and taking the torches and extinguishing
them, along with the remnants of a bomb. Afterwards, I helped Aliandus
free Kuleno, until I detected a group of eight Stavennites coming.
Finishing the job, I presume, for Kuleno told me that they were beating
him, and with a sigh, he died.

Now, I see no protection in this. Rikke, the supposed son of Kuleno, was
never mentioned by him, nor was he ever seen in the village. Stavenn's
protection is naught but forcibly taking away the freedom of choice,
persecuting those who would speak up. The Coterie may doubt my tale, so
I ask them to ask Aliandus, one of their members. He will confirm my
story.
