Friends, I am posting this missive to you today, as one who has seen the
full course of mortal events, and follies for near unto 100 years. I am
come here to tell you all, that we are lost.

All mortals spend there days now, trapped behind walls, fearing to
venture forth, because to do so would mean there deaths. On all sides,
the weak get slain by the city champions, and the city champions get
slain by hordes of the weak and other champions. No matter how skilled
in killing any of us are, there is no rest for anyone. No place we can
find sanctuary, but within the stone walls of our fortresses. I myself
have been caught up in this endless bloodletting, getting pulled into
one fight after another, after being awake for on the better part of a
year. I am sick of it, as I am sure many others are.

What good is a world we cannot see? What good is it to even Live, if all
we see is the walls of our cities, and the steel of our blades. We are
lost, us all. The Lord of Light, lies forgotten. His shrines brought to
ruin, and his statues cast down. In the place of the light is this
horrendous emptiness, as all mortals cower in fear from one another,
while fighting never ending battles, forgetting even the reason they
began.

I call now this day, all peoples, from all cities, clans, guilds, and
orders, who desire an end to the suffering of our world, to gather at
caanae, for a prayer to the Light. The prayers of all mortals to call
back from his slumbers, the Lord of Light, who had together in ages
past, helped lead one of the greatest periods enlightenment in our
worlds history.
