I've posted publically and messaged you a few times now. When you are
ready to address the terms written between Celidon and the Hunters,
contact me.
While I understand that you may run Celidon a certain way, I feel that
leaving an entire treaty ignored for the sake of a personal grudge is
not something that should be done. The Hunters outguilded people for
guild matters. As many of Celidon have said themselves repeatedly, 'the
Celidon Council is not the Hunters.' Therefore, the Hunters are not
Celidon. We reserve the right to outguild anyone, no matter where they
live, for any purpose that the guild comes to.
Celidon has no business in deciding whether or not the Hunters are
allowed to outguild people or not. While someone may hold a position in
the Council, their position does not give them special privledges in our
guild. Therefore, if one must be outguilded for guild reasons, it is our
decision and our ability to do so.
A referendum was held prior to recent events asking the voting members
of the Hunters if they should be allowed to join any Council they please
upon joining the guild. Wouldn't you know it, there was a 9-1 outcome of
being in -favour- of the freedom to select their own council. Of the
voting members, the three Hunter Advisors were capable of voting in this
referendum. This means, assuming that one no vote -was- even an Advisor,
the other two approved of allowing freedom.
Notice this is the change that took place after their removal. The
Hunters are still allowed to join Celidon. Scouts are often encouraged
to, for sake of living close to our guildhall. Most of you, Celidon, are
not even involved in this matter, as it involves the Hunter guild and
rogue Hunters. Not Wytchen, Bards, Saboteurs... and so on.
Your Emeris should of been outguilded before I was even voted as Great
Ranger. One of our Secretaries bought and owned a shop within Trabine.
He was appointed Governor and promptly took the shop as his own, without
returning her goods, or even consulting her. Not only that, but there
was not a single deposit to Trabine showing the profit was going to the
towne. Nor did she receive a single coin for her goods, or the shop she
bought. She was replaced as Governor randomly, without a word's notice
prior, had the shop she bought stolen from her, and her goods stolen
from her also. When she attempted to get answers, she was ignored. This
action took place in Celidon, but as guildmates, your Emeris robbed his
guildmate without a second thought.
Many leaders deal with people they don't like for sake of the
organizations they are in charge of. It's a fact of life, a fact of
duty, and a responsibility to those within said organizations. I've
heard plenty of the whispers being accused of the Hunters, and laugh at
the ignorance being displayed. The Hunters have stood willing to discuss
since these people were outguilded. We outguilded people, we didn't
light fireworks in Celidon or praise Civilization. If you wish to remain
stubborn over your personal loss, appoint someone that wasn't outguilded
and can tolerate a little political discussion. However, there is a
treaty of sorts between our two organizations. The Hunters didn't want
to just drop it due to your stubbornness, as that would be
disrespectful, but you seem to want that apposed to speaking about it
first.
If there are anymore reports of Celidon slandering the Hunters over
lies, the guild will simply not allow our Scouts to live there. They do
not need to be subjected to such immature behavior based off people
being outguilded, nor will the guild support such. It would be wise of
one of you to contact the Hunter leadership about this, or we will again
handle the situation as we see fit.
Pardon to any reading this that it does not affect. Celidon simply needs
to be addressed occasionally as a whole, as it seems they're a tad too
good at generating bluffs based off hearsay.
