Antioch's arrogance

There is no comparing the expansionism of cities with the guardians of
Nature. No council has claimed ownership over any bit of land. The
councils of the forests exist to safeguard Nature's beauty from the
ravages of mindless city dwellers seeking to add to their own dominion.
The cities tear down the forests, rip up the earth, kill or chase off
the animals that make their lives there, simply to build a road, or
extend the reach of their mortar and stone. The councils were formed to
halt this, to maintain and guard over Nature's rightful domain.

To claim the very land we exist on is the pinnacle of arrogance, and
will not be tolerated. Antioch has been shown the penalty for ther
transgressions. Should they relinquish their supposed claim to the
Shaahri, they might find themselves back in a peaceful existence. Until
such time as they do, they will be crushed, and their blood will soak
the sands as their penance.

We will not stand idly by, and we will not stop.

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Naturalis, in the year 502 AD.
